It all started whenβ¦
I took my first ceramics class in college and always knew I would someday come back to it. After moving to Lopez Island in the San Juan Islands, and then to Bozeman, MT, I took some classes again and fell back in love with this art form.
I love throwing pots and the feel of the clay between my hands as I center. Nothing else exists at that moment. The perfect meditation.
My inspiration is definitely nature. The mountains, wildflowers, blue skies and rivers constantly spark joy, inspiration, and creativity in me. I love painting and carving these images on the surfaces of my forms.
Throwing pots and making useful and beautiful forms is fulfilling and fun. I love sharing my art with people and hope it brings them delight.
